Welcome to the Winter 2011 season of Books and Literature Trivia Night. We’re pleased to once again bring you the finest trivia experience on PalTalk. This season brings us
38 games of entertaining trivia and exciting competition over the next ten weeks.
The official rules have been updated with the following changes:
1. No Alternate Questions - After a stumper question, the microphone is passed to the next questioner in the reading order. This rule originated in music trivia and is intended to allow for a greater variety of questions.
2. Round Four PGP - During Round 4 of Individual Play, at least 40 points must be accumulated before any player may win the game. A player who has scored nine points with less than 40 points awarded during the round will not earn additional points. A counter will be displayed on the scoreboard. This season, the following six games will implement this rule: Round 4 on 1/7, 1/14, 1/28 (Music Trivia), 2/25, 3/4, and Round 2 on 3/11 (Music Trivia).
3. 50/50 Questions – During team rounds, team captains make a category selection when using a 50/50 lifeline.
